On November 18th, 2017, the annual Ronald McDonald House Dreamland Gala was held at the Sheraton Waikiki. Guests who attended this fundraising event each received many treats, such as macadamia nuts, Hawaiian sea salt, and chocolates, to name a few.
While the Disney Ohana Club only helped to set up and did not attend the event, it was eye opening to witness the effort that so many people put into events like these.
An extravagant silent auction included Rock n' Roll and cinema memorabilia including a guitar signed by the members of the Rolling Stones, a movie poster signed by the cast of Frozen, and even a framed picture of Bart Simpson hand drawn and signed by the Simpson's creator, Matt Groening.
