The first event of this two part process was a baking party, and the next day we sold the things we made at an on campus bake sale to fundraise for our club! The baking party was long, but tons of fun! While we were waiting for things to finish we were joking around and laughing so hard we couldn't stop, while also bonding over difficult mid-terms and our never ending homework. The night was a welcome break in the middle of the week to help de-stress and catch our breath during midterm season. By the end of the night we successfully made batches of butter mochi and brownies to sell the next day. The actual bake sale the next day was a fun and easy way for our members to help fundraise and fill one of the requirements to reach active status. Those who came helped us have a great time and meet new perspective club members as well!
