On August 28th the Disney Ohana Club Participated in the Uh Manoa Involvement fair, an event created by ASUH, the student government on campus. Our table was set up by the ATM machines and Stir Fresh. many of our officers and members got involved by bringing their stuffed animals, making poster boards, creating a suggestion box, and helping man the table throughout the day! everyone was involved and it showed! we were able to get tons of new people signed up on the email list! All because of each members enthusiastic and outgoing energy! Not only were we able to get new recruits but it seemed that everyone who helped table had a good time! I don't think that I saw anyone stop smiling!!!
The involvement Fair was the first glimpse of seeing how the people in this club can come together and make this place a true Ohana for each and everyone that even glances our way! Seeing they way these members interacted with either other, possible new recruits, as well as other tablers, It was easy to to see that this semester and this Club as a whole and as each indivusal will be a happy, supportive, kind, and openminded community. The Disney Ohana club will be an exciting and magically Social club for anyone and everyone and I for one can't wait to see whats ahead!
